金曲歌王蕭煌奇（Ricky）即將在11月3日發行最新台語創作專輯《人生 我敬你一杯》，催生這張專輯時，適逢蕭煌奇由3字頭轉升為4開頭的黃金時刻，面對40而不惑的人生，他將親情、愛情、友情、命運和機會等許多體悟點滴，都寫進專輯裡，在秋天微涼之際，精釀出這1張帶有「收獲」意味的《人生 我敬你一杯》。
唱片公司大手筆斥資300萬，大隊人馬前往北海道札榥拍攝專輯封面和MV，蕭煌奇在有「札幌的後花園」之稱的豐平峽水庫拍攝專輯主視覺，更是他歌手生涯首度出國進行拍攝工作。創作《人生 我敬你一杯》這張專輯時，正好是蕭煌奇人生第40個年頭，他感性說：「走到了不惑，發現人生有起有落、有苦有甘，正因為各色各味沒有絕對，才讓各款人生，活得有滋有味。」

專輯製作更特別前往日本，破天荒與宇多田、松田聖子、平井堅、等東洋A咖御用「吉他天王」鳥山雄司（Yuji Toriyama）合作，以及邀請日本三味線「演奏國寶」車谷健太（Kenta Kurumatani）參與製作。一開始蕭煌奇擔心語言不通，但雙方靠音樂溝通，無縫接軌地順暢與合拍，讓他開心得整趟心情都如沐春風。

憂AI成武器 Google中止美軍無人機計畫
: Google 在內部員工抗議與外界質疑聲浪下，將中止與美國國防部名為 Project Maven 的無人機計畫。
Google 曾於今（ 2018 )年 3 月宣布與美國五角大廈合作，將利用 AI 深度學習，分析無人機拍攝的影片，將有助於無人機於軍事用途發展。然而消息發布後，立即引發千名Google 員工反彈聲浪，並連署上書 CEO Sundar Pichai ，認為 Google 參與涉及戰爭相關業務，已違反 Google 「 Don’t be evil 」的企業精神。
內部消息指出，這項合作案將於明年 3 月終止，另一原因為這項交易利潤微乎其微，僅值 1000 萬美元（折合新台幣 2 億 9 千萬元），而 Google 原本圖的是這項合作帶來的其他商業利益，如與軍方更多的軍事合作，以及國防部高達數十億美元的雲端服務訂單。
Google Cloud CEOSundar Pichai也向員工承諾，由於此項計畫「利大於弊」，同時造成輿論波瀾，因此 Google 立場必需做出改變。而據外媒披露，Maven project 並非如表面上看起來的單純，將作為軍事方面的數據蒐集用途以及協助美方揭露他國的安全資料。
